I’ve come across a problem relating to AVASTSVC.exe, since yesterday (2/07/2015) Avast has started this behaviour of using my full bandwidth whenever i’m in the process of downloading. I’ve upgraded my braodband plan yesterday (2/7/15) ,strange that avast started behaving after this. After a particular download has been done , i looked at the taskmanger to see network activity and saw bandwidth being used in full speed. >:(
Later i’d installed NETWORX( bandwidth monitoring tool) to see what was using up the bandwidth and saw that AVASTSVC.exe was responsible for it . I’ve confirmed it. :o
I reinstalled avast , but stilll the problem persists. I was using the latest version .
I’ve gone through other threads about this issue of AVASTSVC.exe using bandwidth , but none has given me a proper solution.
