Avast service fails to start - system is unsecured

avast version 8.0.1483 - free antivirus
windows XP 3

I’ve done system restore - since then service is failing to load.
restoring back to the first point didn’t help

uninstall fails - Error reading product data from “C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\setup\part-setup_abp-ffffffff.vpx”. Setup cannot continue.

download new version and installing - did’t manage

currently status is disabled.

trying to start service from services screen didn’t help
