The problem i’m having, is that after installation of avast, the newest version (orange logo etc), 2 days or so, regardless of and old windows or fresh install, the anti-virus’ services are all disabled and wont start.
i have uninstalled, with the avast utility, reinstalled, then some time later the same problem occurs.
has anyone else have, had, or have solved this prob??
have you removed any previous used AV program before installing avast ?
have you run a removal tool to clean out all leftovers ? can be found here http://uninstallers.blogspot.com/
you may also do a clean up with CCleaner before installing…also run CCleaner reg.cleaning http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

hi! I gues you solved the pb. Try and help me out.
my avast has been disable by something. and no way to run it or even to uninstall it . I can’t run any other avast program. I am using avast 5. what could be my pb. I saw also that my Registry editor and task manager are disabled. I tried malwarebites anty malware and superAntiSpy, but still the same pb. any solution for me?
