After doing a scan, Avast states the router password is weak. The password itself is shown in asteriks but when you click on it, it ‘turns it over’ to let you see exactly what it is.
Now since I’ve got Avast installed on quite a few laptops for different people, all they’d need to do is click on the ‘password’ box and they’ll know what it is.
It’s the Wifi password that’s shown. And it was myself that created it. I changed it from the default one that was quite difficult to remember (since it was a combination of letters and numbers, some uppercase, some lowercase).
I’m just wondering; if I change it to something stronger, will it still show up if someone was to go into the settings of Avast? - just as before?

And how often do you need to remeber it?
Do you add new computers / device evry day?
If not you do not need to remeber it, write it down
The idea with long passwords is that the longer it is the more difficult it is to crack
