Yes, we are aware of the issue as it’s due to a bug. On the troubled machines download the vpsupd.exe on those machines and it should fix the issue for the short term and later this month the new Program update for Endpoint will be released which will resolve the issue for all machines along with fixing some other small minor bus.

You can download the file below. **Please be sure to disconnect those XP machines from the default group so they do not receive any automatic updates which will undo the fix. We should have this issue resolved with the upcoming program update.

**At this point in time, you MUST run the manual update each day to update these clients, they will not be able to update from the internet or the mirror. Any attempt in doing so will result in the client fix being undone and thus the message will return again.

I hope this provides some solution for the meantime.

The reason for this tool is to delete all previous VPS files from avast and it enables the client to download new ones so it should remove the problem with not enough space.

The erorr message issue should not return. Not enough storage means that internal storage in avast is full - this storage is used to unzip package vps updates, vpsupd tools automatically deletes all stored files and rewrites them with latest ones. So that means the old ones should be deleted and this way makes a free space for the next ones.

We hope to have the beta release for the program update very soon.

Thank you in advance for your patience.
