Avast has no update or warning sounds anymore, and I never remember turning them off. I found the option to turn them off/on, and to change them, but none of them are listed for some reason.
Anyone know whats up?
Found the answer. I had to go into settings, manually browse to each sound, and reinstate them. I think I know what caused this too.
Basically, I installed Avast, uninstalled Avast, and then ran the Avast uninstall cleaning tool. Then I reinstalled, and they didn’t work anymore.
I’m better the cleaning tool is the clutch in there. Either way, even if it isn’t, its a bug i’d like to report.
I have same problem, one day i think clean my computer with CCleaner then i scan with ad-aware and it found something and same time avast reaction to same problem, but the sound is lost, no sound when it found something, i go to watch sound settings under avast is six line and i click each one, but ewerything is empty, then i try to repair and it not help, only one what i cand do is download here forum some user put link to new different .wav sound, i,m not sure if i like that kind of sounds, but what else i can do, i don,t know.
