Hi Everyone!
Ok, I recently installed drivers for my new graphics card (ATi Radeon 3850), after I did all of the annoying stuff and rebooted, Avast isn’t working. This is what the error looks like.

Does anyone know whats wrong? I am afraid to do anything on my computer.
(also, please don’t mind the folders on the desktop…)
Hi, welcome to the forum.
Try a repair install. Control panel>programs? (in XP it’s add/remove programs)> Avast antivirus and click change/remove. One of the options that then appears is “repair”. Try that.
Thanks for the reply!
I couldn’t find a repair button, so I clicked “Change” and I also clicked “Update”
Both did something really fast, and now Avast works!
Thanks for the help!
Are you sure the repair button is not there now?
Maybe moving the slider down… Strange…
Glad it’s all OK, for future reference, the area to find the “repair” option is, is under “Control panel>programs and features”, where the entire list of programs available for removal is listed.
After clicking Change/Remove (in add remove programs), if you scrolled down that list of options, Repair is at the bottom.
