Your welcome, I just knew there was something else scanning, it was just finding it ;D
Whilst I’m not sure what aolservicehost.exe scans for or if there might be any possible conflict if it does open a file for scanning that avast recognises as malware/spyware. Then the two could conflict whilst trying to deal with the same problem file.

it is something like ad-aware, and does about the same thing! It comes with the AOL package! 
If you have adaware and spybot S&D or other anti-spyware programs then it may be redundant. You could remove it and save resources.
