avast statistics missing from tools

Since latest update, I have noticed that the tools section is empty, statistics is missing.

Many topics on this - it has been removed and will have an update to return in a program update, estimated to be in September.

oh sweet thank you, i couldn’t find any info on it when i looked in the forums, it now seems stupid to have a drop down menu for tools, since nothing is there now.

Well there is still something there
But those options are for the paid versions so are of-limits so to speak.

I believe the Stats in its previous incarnation didn’t hold much information, not enough to be useful. Hopefully when it returns it will be worthwhile.

There were traffic history on each shields and latest avast files/web checks in real time…enough useful for me

No idea what history when it is only displaying the last 5 entries/lines - unless you keep the stats permanently open by the time you open it what you opened it for is likely to be ancient history. e.g. no longer listed in the last 5 entries. It really needs a lot more than 5 lines.

So for me personally the stats were definitely lacking to the point of old out of date data possibly worse than no data.

It’s your point of view. 8)

I have mine , and 5 lines are enough useful for me to see (hiden) in real time what happen (and without other tools) when I open a file , a link , a soft , … , of course just “on demand”.

Non of this changes the fact that “statistics” isn’t currently available.

We well know , we well know ;D

“Statistic” is an important tool, but it only has 5 lines to track every process and hasn’t any log to see later. ::slight_smile:
Compare to other-AVs (like Kaspersky, ESET…), Avast lack of almost supervise tools. >:(
It is hard for expert. :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

Well, I think you can see the priority assigned to this function, with this topic almost a year old and no further indication if or when this function may (or may not) return.
