Every time I reboot my Win 7 SP1 64-bit machine, Avast Free does NOT automatically start. Instead I get a UAC prompt, and I have to hit Allow or Yes or Don’t Fuss for Avast to start and for my machine to be completely on.
How do I set what settings to let Avast start automatically (as it used to do)?
Thanks.

Do you have UAC disabled?

Sahri - my UAC is on the default normal setting. I have had this issue only recently - was not happening before.
How do I set something so that Avast starts up with everything else without being blocked by a UAC prompt?
Thanks.

Bump. I would like some help with this.
It continues - every time I reboot Win 7 Pro 64-bit, there is a UAC prompt for Avast. Everything is stuck until I hit Yes or Allow. This should not be - Avast should start without a UAC prompt. How to fix?
Have you tried a repair of Avast … Did you install as administrator
