Avast stops Bluetooth and Network drive

As long as Avast is installed I am unable to connect my bluetooth phone and my Netgear drive (uses a service called Zetera to connect).

I get no error messages, it just does not work.
If I uninstall Avast everything works fine.

How can I fine-tune avast to allow my stuff to run?

If you stop avast! resident providers one by one - is there any particular one that helps?
