I am the author of a Windows app, which I test before I do a release. I just put up a new version, and even though it never was a problem when testing (in a virtualbox with avast running in Win10) when I go to update my actual systems, I get this message that Avast doesn’t know about it, it’s uploaded to avast to check out, and it might take 6 hours! On top of that, when I go to more info and tell it that I trust the app, it still stops it from getting to the internet. I know this is avast, because if I stop avast anti-virus, it runs correctly.
So two questions,
If I say I trust it, why doesn’t it run correctly.
How can I get ahead of this and get avast to check it out before I roll it out to my users?
