Seemed to start up with latest updates of AVAST that the print function in GOOGLE pops up the print page but before the document loads the page goes away. New here so this may have been answered before but lost in all the threads.

Doesn’t seem like an Avast issue. I have Avast and can print from with Google Chrome. Can you print from within Internet Explorer? Can you print normally like printing a test page via printer setup?

This is what it printed using the CTRL P Key combination within Chrome.
Yes all that works OK I did find I need to stop AVAST for the time I need to print and all prints OK then I start AVAST again.
Just happened since Monday July 22 and I have not changed anything.
Which version of avast! ??? I don’t stop avast! in order to print.
Nothing will happen if the user stops Avast temporarily only to print then re-ables it. I highly doubt the user will run into a piece of malware within the matter of a few seconds. Its not that easy to be infected. If it wasn’t meant to be stops then they wouldn’t provide that functionality. What other Chrome Addons are you using? Also which version of Chrome? Latest version of Chrome is 28.0.1.500.72. If Avast was blocking it then it should be in your Avast logs. But I am sure its not. Are you using something like NoScript or ScriptNo? There are no settings in Avast which would stop a printer from printing. If you can print a test page and print from IE then its not Avast. It maybe a conflict of an Addon.
No add ons of any type and yes it prints OK from IE and WORD so I suspect some conflict with Google Chrome and GMAIL so for now a couple seconds of disable AVAST then print then back on is working.
All programs are updated so it has to be something I am missing here.
I’m using Chrome and I have no problems printing Gmail.
In fact the Gmail printed everything including color.
Both from Ctrl P and the print button.
