So I purchased an avast key from G2A because it was cheap and a year long, purchased G2A shield with it as well just in case something went wrong with it. I updated avast the other day and have just noticed it’s gone from the premier back to the free version without notification, I did get emails a couple of weeks ago saying my free 60 day trial was about to expire but I just thought that was because I had that on my account prior and didn’t really bother to check my code was still valid. I haven’t received any notification that the code I used ended up expiring suddenly or was invalid but when I go to try enter the code back in it just says “Something went wrong…” attempting to sort things out with G2A currently but just thought I’d check if there was any way to get my license back or if anyone knew why it was giving me an error like that instead of saying the license is invalid or something along those lines.
Not familiar with G2A website:

Appears you bought a license outside of avast, so when you activated it using the license from G2A it also appears you started a 60-day trial period, at the end of which avast would revert to the free version.
Sound about right?
No was originally a license that had a year on it which was listed in avast, but I bought an insurance as per say on it in case the license ended up being dodgy and didn’t work or got removed due to not actually being a valid license, there were no questions asked in the end and I got refunded which i’d assume would be because the sellers account is also not around anymore so probably was selling dodgy licenses. The thread can be closed now as the refund ended up being easy enough to sort, now to actually purchase a legitimate license.
Sounds like you were looking for a bargain and wound up getting duped instead.
