Hi can I just delete my avast software for then the subscription that is coming in some days to be deleted too? Or do I need to do both? I managed to stop one but not the main subscription.
The most important aspect is cancelling your auto renewal payment/subscription otherwise the auto payment will kick in regardless of the status of avast being installed or not.
Step 1 really needs to be cancel your subscription.
Step 2 uninstall avast at the end of your subscription (or now if that is what you want to do) or it will keep nagging you to renew your subscription.
OK thx for answer. I am not logged in in my Avast. I tried but couldnt, didnt recognize the email. So can I be charged for subscription then? Also I tried to cancel the two renewals, I think I managed to remove one but not the main software. Using same method I couldnt remove the other.
Add: I cancelled VPN and it said I could get a subscription for free for 7 days without credit card so must be same I did with the first time meaning they cant charge me.
You would need to use the email that you did when you signed up for the trial
Can you give more details on ‘how’ you logged on to your my.avast account ?
You should be able to do it from the avast tray icon, Registration information, see attached image. Or you should be able to connect to my.avast.com directly, if you are logged on to the forum it use your logon information you used to connect.
If the VPN was free 7 day trial without supporting payment method, uninstalling it ‘should’ be enough, but as an Avast user not an avast team member I can’t guarantee that.
Well it gets more complicated. I have the email but cant seem to login, for an old domainthat expired, and I cant get emails to get my password. Since though Im not logged in and the subscriptions are visible and says 3 days to renewal, doesnt this mean I wont get charged for money as Im not logged in?
Sorry for this
Oh my… There was a link at the email I got so I could cancel from there. Sorry for the bother.
Issue fixed
You’re welcome, happy that you now have it resolved.
