Hi, I have a question. If I buy an annual Avast subscription, will it start from the moment of purchase or from the moment I activate the key?
First, Iām an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
I would suspect it would start immediately on purchase as any payment would be taken at that point (you van use it immediately) and any auto payment mandate if set up would also come into effect at that time.
That said you can take out the Free Trial, however, you would have to complete a payment mandate that would be actioned at the end of the trial period (unless cancelled).
I have been using Avast Free (not Avast One Free) for over 21 years and it suits my needs. You could start out on Avast One Free and see if it meets your needs and get used to the program before making any commitment to upgrade to one of the paid options.
