I have noticed in the past few days that Avast always have a sudden 100% CPU resources for no reason. I notice that because my itunes always suddnely skip/pause or clip.

I have noticed in the past few days that Avast always have a sudden 100% CPU resources for no reason. I notice that because my itunes always suddnely skip/pause or clip.

To troubleshoot this it will be better to know what is being scanned at that time…
Maybe you can see into the providers settings which is the last scanned file.
Are you using the trial version? Did you schedule any avast! scanning?
Well it is quite hard, since it was the ashserv.exe, my guess it would be the standard shield. And it was a firefox profile file.
And i dont run scehdule scan. And it only happen in a 1s, than back to normal. But it just happen quite often.
i think i got to the point, it is because the scanning of itunes while i am listening to music…
but why itunes? If itunes hasn’t changed then why scan again and again?
