Avast suddenly updates other software without asking and without my consent

we’d have to find the place in the forum where avast guy explained that SU had been moved to cleanup, I think it was 6 or 7 months ago.

In Avast 24.9 is no change. Setup is the same. “Software updater” should be under “Cleanup” if is dependent on it, same way as “Ransomware shield” is under “Behavior shield”. I checked only “Software updater” and Avast GUI tell me i have not installed it.
