Avast support any human ?

Hi and i am posting here now as the last chance _
I am trying to pay for my license and it is a RENEWAL_ I was redirected on a portal
which I had never seen it before and I was asked for a password which i didnt have , anyway eventually
i got logged in … and i wish things were easier ,
I will try once more and after that, if no answer I will delete Avast and go to an easier provider who has human helping
and not only reply, after no reply, after reply useless email which does not allow to ask questions _
I am only asking how to renew license and how to get my question about additional product answered by a human .
I use to do it that way in the past years and now all it is changed …
Things would be so much better if there were easier

eventually found out about that after many researches and after calling the Avast number for Uk support
which cut our conversation when he didn’t know what to answer … number called 02033182676 @ 17:38 Gmt time/ Operator(**)

I am sorry i try to explain again … I can manage to download and renew a simple license, however i need to speak with someone
1- As the prices offered on website differ from those offered on my Avast Interface
2- If there is a support dedicated with an email and in the help section why it is not answered from 3 days ?
3- Why it says renew license and when you get in, it says buy a new one ?
4- they might take double money by doing so ?
5- is the renewal on my avast interface only a real renewal or only an additional feature sold by avast as they often do about the software update for which you need pay an extra 19 Usd ?
I am only a client who want to ask a question before paying and my license expires in 2 days …
What can i say if i get answer from support, that’s fine, if not bye bye Avast.

Renew it through your avast account.

1] And what is the problem with that ?
2] If you want to get support directly from avast, create a ticket. (contact sales directly)
3] Because basically renewing is getting a new subscription.
4 ] If that happens you will get a refund of the amount you paid to much

i did all that and as a proof i screen printed couple of pic t show it on here
i don’t seem to have the option to send attachments yet … when i click on link Insert mage
is gives two in brackets and not the usual redirection to draw the photos from my pc.
I created few tickets and no response and it says, ticket has been closed … So strange
i am doing all i can don’t know why this happens
i am normally good at contacting various associations etc …
how to attach photos on here ? Thank you

As the things you are asking about is for avast to handle there is no need to attach pictures here.
We can’t do anything about payment issues as we do not work for avast and can’t see your/the details.

In the case of Avast - I think the company would be further ahead using bots.

Twice within four months of my automatic renewal, I received notification that my “trial subscription” had expired and my computer was unprotected.

Both times I received the usual groveling apology with instruction on how to reinstate. Instead, I opted not to reinstate, but bought a paid version of Malwarebytes.

Clearly whatever department runs that part of the operation, is managed by incompetents. The fact is that I am safer with Malwarebytes and a free antivirus as back up - since clearly, my computer is at greater risk when I’m at risk of being blindsided with my computer left unprotected, either through the meddling of incompetent staff, or simply bad management.

I have a current subscription for three computers and I have no intention of allowing auto renewal to go through. It doesn’t matter how good the software may be - if the company is staffed by idiots.

And an additional crack on the head for the numskull who devised the system that required that I go through ANOTHER of those obnoxious captchas because two other replies had been posted. Are Avast’s resident halfwits attempting to turn filing into some kind of puzzle game. Maybe there’s one person with some intelligence who can understand how alienating these captcha devices can be. I’ve now gone through five captchas since that idiotic interruption about the additional posts.

If you have problems then so does the forum spammers, and it is only first 3 posts

avast is not using bots.

The captcha is there only the first three post to help keep spammers away.
And it is not avast who designed it.

Well avast has a free version that runs well alongside MBam as long as you set the correct exclusions in both.
It is not advise to run both in real time though, but you can set either of them to run in passive mode.

Eventually today a big Red screen appeared and advised to pay with precise instructions… f’ course no chance to ask any questions and no way to know details about what i am paying for … yeah of course it says there that i’ll get protection and anti-spam /sandbox etc, but not much that can be asked. we are in a world where the human wants to appear less and less not to have to discuss with clients and deal in auto only _ Big bosses wants to hide behind a company and get the clients to pay without any assistance_ What a shame_
I called the Avast Support and they are so good t hang up when they do not know the question_
Disappointed, but life goes on and i am not gonna cry over Avast non-existent live support_

The number you called is third party support and they don’t know anything about purchases or renewal.
