I am unable to access the Avast Support Center:
Is it currently offline?
Other than these forums, is there another way to communicate with Avast about technical problems? The issue I reported on these forums last week has not been resolved.

Snap, I don’t know if this is planned maintenance or not, though I doubt it.
You could try emailing support (at) avast (dot) though I would have thought by putting this on the topic you mention would have been better in bumping it up the chronological order.
The topic I mentioned is already bumped to the top of the Avast Server Edition forum:
http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=40702.0
However, it has received no replies from anyone but me in almost three days. I have also written to Vlk directly, but have yet to receive a response.
I posted to the Avast Home/Pro forum this question about the Avast Support Center, because this forum enjoys much more traffic than the Avast Server Edition forum, and my question applies equally to users of both forums.
Yeah… offline… what’s up?
The support.avast.com site is back up again.
I’m still getting a blank page.
Nope, still up, clear your browser cache, just in case.
I can confirm that it was down, but should be up’n’running now…
Thanks
Vlk
No help David, It seems to be a Vista thing, I can see the page with protected mode off, but not with it on.
Update: If I clear the support.avast.com cookie I can get into the site, But, when I log in all I get is a blank screen.
Today is Jan 04 2009
And the problem is still on.
If this is how good AVAST is, what about their programs?
I have no problem accessing the site.
I just tested http://support.avast.com/ .
Results: IE7 under Vista - blank page - no error
FF3 - works fine
As a follow up, I cleared my IE7 cache, tried a CTRL/F5 refresh. Nothing worked.
This is the View Source results:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></HEAD>
<BODY></BODY></HTML>
I am also have this problem. I am running IE7 but on XP Pro. I have done everthing and nothing but a blank page with Done in the bottom left hand corner.
I am now able to get into the site using IE7.
Here’s what I did. Using Karen’s Cookie Viewer, I found two different cookies referring to support.avast. I deleted both.
I also was just now able to get into the support site.
Only one cookie was rebuilt after visiting the site. (under vista).
Right now, no problem here on Vista and Firefox.
