I called for a resend on a license file. Sorry I didn’t dig hard enough in your website to find the link first. I like most Americans am not a computer geek. John was useless. He spewed a bunch of ** and took time to log into my computer to show me other problems it had which were completely unrelated to needed a new license file FOR SOFTWARE I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR!!
He wasted me time trying to convince me to pay $180 bucks for your nerds to fix stuff I don’t care about. Then promised to send a duplicate license file. BUT NEVER DID.

Unfortunately we had a situation with the license server last night (https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=177053.msg1255390#msg1255390) and for that reason the license was not sent to you.
That doesn’t explain, though, that you were offered some service you didn’t request, although IMHO I see nothing wrong in offering something you might be interested in, which you can of course refuse.
I’ll listen to the call and if you desire I will follow up with you here or by email.
