Avast.svc is taking up 60-90% of cpu!

I recently what was slowing down my computer was avast.svc it is taking up to 60 CPU to 90 CPU!

What exact avast version ?
What OS/SP ?
Any other security (related) software installed ? (or was there)
Already performed a repair of avast ?
Already performed a clean installation of the latest avast ?
