Hello. I keep receiving notifications saying “scam deepfake detected” when watching recorded TV programs from the 1980s on YouTube, especially Game Shows. They are not synthetic creations done in AI, they’re recordings of old TV programs on VHS..With that being said, if it says “scam deepfake detected” when watching recorded TV programs, it’s a false positive.
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
There isn’t much detail to work with, is this an Avast Alert. If so a Screenshot of the Avast Alert window might help.
It could potentially be a link from that connection triggering the alert not the actual URL you visited.
