Avast "Threat has been detected" Infection Blocked. But I'm not searching web

I keep getting popups from Avast when I’m not even searching the web and my screen is asleep. I might not have been at my computer for hours and I hear this pop up. This last one my email had been open for hours, and no other tabs open. How can I keep getting this alert when it has been sitting idle on the same yahoo email page for a long time and I’m not surfing? I have the paid avast premium service on my computer. I’m also using Firefox as my browser.

The popup reads: Infection Blocked
URL: http://www.mtl9.000a.biz/jc/member/login/1|{gzip}
Infection: JS:lframe-BQC [Trj]
Process: C:\User\ blah blah\AppData\Local\Hola\firefox\app\hola_plugin.exe

I have no idea what this URL is for? No where I go. Anyone have any thoughts, tell me why this is happening, and what I can do to stop it?

Seems yo have a critter in your comp

So you never intentionally installed Hola http://hola.org/

essexboy Yes I just realized this. After typing all that out since the avast link wouldn’t let me copy and paste, a light bulb finally just went off in my head, lol. (Eh I’m blonde, it takes a while :wink: I downloaded Hola a year or so ago when I wanted to watch the blacked out soccer game. I just went into my add-on extensions and found that and uninstalled it!
So it was from there that, what… viruses, or Mal-ware was trying to get into my computer???

It looked like it was trying to sign you in to Hola for some unknown reason. If you wish I can check for any remnants after you have uninstalled it
