avast took money from my bank and never updated

after reading that this has happened to other avast users and never been sorted, I am running out of hope that i will ever get my money back

avast secureline was set to auto update, they took money from my bank 7 days before the subscription was going to end and it said in my account that it had updated, but there was a count down showing every day for the next 7 days saying that my subscription was going to end and i need to renew it, i waited for those days to pass and then it tells me my subscription had ended and wouldn’t let me connect, even though it said my subscription was valid for another month in my account settings, so I had to pay again to get my subscription for the next 30 days, so now I’ve had to pay twice just to get 30 days subscription, if this isn’t sorted out like it seems not to be for everyone else this has happened too, I will submit news everywhere about my experience with avast and how they steal money from your account and ignore any help you ask for, I’m disgusted, I am severely disabled and don’t have a lot of money, I submitted a ticket #CAJ-762-88684 but it looks like thats what most people do and they still don’t get help or their money back, I will never buy or use anything from avast ever again if this isn’t sorted

I’m sorry you’ve had this experience,

Unfortunately, the normal users of this forum are either asleep or gone. That’s not really an issue, I hope, at least not right this second.
What I’d suggest you do is you wait about 1-3 Business Days for avast to reply to the ticket. If they do not reply, I’d either send it another or wait. Avast Support attempts to get you to not call for billing inquiries, but if you cannot get a hold of them any other way I don’t think they’ll really be mad if you call them. It’s their fault, in my opinion, if they don’t reply to a ticket in a timely manner, and to me, anything over 4 Business Days is starting to take a little long. If you cannot get a hold of them, I suppose you could call your bank if it was through credit or debit. If you end up calling them, please try to be clam. Being upset or mad at them could result in more problems. I’m sure you’ll get the issue resolved if you contact the correct people.

If there are any more problems, please reply to this thread again. I’m trying to attempt to help as best as I can since it’s pretty quiet tonight… Sorry if I’m not much of a help. :-
I hope you get someone who knows more about the topic than I do soon either tonight or tomorrow…

Have a good day.

Reported to Moderator. This should get you some help.
Do not send in any further support tickets. It only puts you back at the end of the line.

@ IxWolfie It’s been known to take 7 to 14 days for a ticket response.
Bob has reported it so the best the OP can do is to wait.

ticket was resolved on 20th August.

Our response time are getting back to reasonable times  Any bets when will get it under 24 hours?

Not yet Lukas.

I hope you will consider stuff posted in this topic from Ondrej:
