Avast tool bar in outlook 2007

When I installed Avast Internet security I had a tool bar on outlook 2007 with four buttons, Spam, Not spam, white list and Black list.
Yesterday I opened outlook to find that this tool bar is not there any longer, even I have not changed anything.
Avast is enabled in outlook, I get the Avast splash screen opening outlook, but that tool bar is no longer there, nor is it on the list of tool bars in outlook. Can anyone tell me how do I retrieve this tool bar?

Thank you

Go Tools > Trust center > Add-inns > Manage Disabled items.

Done that, avast is enabled in outlook, and still no tool bar…

in outlook express, if i right click at the top behind help, i get an option to show/hide toolbar, do you have this option in Outlook ?

Maybe, to resolve this issue you need to turn off outlook (ensure it is not running in task manager and kill it if necessary). Once you have outlook out of your way just run the following command:

del “%userprofile%\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\extend.dat”

Note this will only delete the file for the current user, so if there are other users sharing the same computer they will need to run the same command. Outlook will recreate the extend.dat file from the registry next time it starts.
