Hi, every time I turn on my computer I’m told that Avast is turned off, so I’m not protected properly, my email shield and other shields are turned off and I can’t turn them on, can someone tell me why, it does turn on itself, but why is it turned off in the beginning, I don’t understand at all, ricky1
what AV program did you have before avast!, was your computer delivered with trail AV when new ?
have you uninstalled it ?
have you used a removal tool to clean out all leftovers ?

For some reason Avast keeps disconnecting. Is there a way to stop this from happening? I have Windows 8.1. When I had Windows 7 this didn’t happen. Any suggestions?
