I bought the licence today but the avast U3 ScanDisk program preinstalled on my scan disk Cruzer stick was missing one or more files; I deleted this and tried to install the trial edition from the U3 download cental - the download fails every time so now I have no security at all
Please can anyone help and advise how do I get the program back onto the stick and then re-activate the licence???
What does fail?
The download or the installation process?
Which is the error messages? Can you post a screenshot?
The U3 download centre initiates the download with the U 3 stick then I got the message installation had failed and the process ended. For installation to have started I assume the download completed?
I can not tell you more than that thee error message was that a file or files to run the program were missing, this only occurred after I installed the license I has just purchased. The now no program to run and get a repeat of the error.

Could you please try installing avast directly from our website? I’m not sure if Sandisk website is hosting the most up-to-date version…
