I created the boot cd, but while it is trying to load the Reatogo desktop, it give me a blue screen, i’ve tried it with 7 of the computers. I then restart the computer without the cd in, and it gives me the same error. What else can i try?

What must i load onto the flashdrive with Rufus?
system

Okay, so i used Rufus and i loaded the FRST.exe onto the flashdrive, i then rebooted the computer, which then booted into the FreeDOS kernel, i then typed in the command “FRST.exe” and pressed enter, it then said that “This program cannot be run in DOS mode”.
What should i do now?

You need to create a bootable usb stick with Rufes that boots Windows.
system
12
So if i create it so that it boots windows, won’t i lose all the data on the computer?
Eddy

No, you need to create the usb stick so that a windows environment is loaded.
What version of windows do you have and is it 32 or 64 bit
system

Windows 7 Professional; 32 Bit
Download the following three programmes to your desktop :
- Rufus
For 32bit systems
2. Windows 7 RC… I will PM the download link
3. Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
Insert the USB stick Then run Rufus

Select the ISO file on the desktop via the ISO icon.
Press Start Burn
Then copy FRST to the same USB

OK you have two files missing… One I can replace with FRST but the other unfortunately will require a repair install http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html
