Avast! uninstall utility

I submit to You that the uninstall utility can be downloaded from (http://www.avast.com/it-it/uninstall-utility) is not suitable for avast! 9.0.2006. In fact, yesterday, after using it has left intact the folders and files that were previously installed.
I do not know, then, if the registry is cleaned properly.

I used avastclear and it left a lot in the Registry.
Procedure was:
run avastclear (safe mode), after reboot delete Prefetch data (I do this after major changes to save the poor OS from getting confused) and check the directories to delete any left, run RegHelp, reboot, Reghelp again (and each time it finds a lot of Avast entries), install and set up 2006 from scratch, reboot.

Revo does a better job than avastclear does.

Revo can also take out shared DLL’s leaving you with a system or other programs that no longer function.

Can the new avastclear also remove previous versions (8,7…) or is aswclear required for that?

Older versions are not listed in the tool, so I tend to no. :-\

One does need to be careful. Touch wood, not so far.
