Avast unistalled but still sends messages . App not seen on phone

Hi

I have unistalled the avast anti theft app on my phone a long time ago.

and recently i have inserted a new sim with the same registered phone number , but whenever i turn my phone off and on it sends the messages to the numbers that i have added in the security settings to the people with my location and that a new sim is registered.
I want to change the settings or want to register the new sim

Quick help would be appreciated

are you sure you uninstalled Anti-Theft? Often customers only uninstall Mobile Security and forget about Anti-Theft…
If you definitely uninstalled it, the messages your phone is sending are probably sent by a preinstalled security solution you configured…and forgot about.

it’s easy to test: if the SMS contains “avast” somewhere in the text, you’ll still need to uninstall Anti-Theft.
if avast! isn’t mentioned, you need to look for the preinstalled security solution.
