Two days ago Avast triwd to updaye but I got an error. I rebooted my computer and did a scan on start up. After the scan was complete, no programs would start. IE Avast FF Chrome will not atart up.

What version of avast?
What OS?
What was the error?
Any problems before doing the scan? If so which ones?
What other security software do you have installed?
