My mom (who’s in another state so I can only discuss over the phone) seems to have lost her internet access, apparently while Avast was doing a program update. She got impatient with the restart and manually restarted. This is a Dell desktop running Vista, and since then, no network connectivity seems to be working. She has a laptop that’s working fine so the issue obviously isn’t at the router or up.
Is there any way to manually back out or finish the update that Avast started? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
