Avast Update Malware

Hello,
Today when I started my laptop Avast! sounded its
alarm bell and a window appeared which said:

C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastEmUpdate.exe
URL: MAL

I have downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and run it but
it said it did not find anything.

I have performed a boot scan using Avast! and it did not find
anything, though the following message came up:

C:\Update\EP0000268687\EP0000268687.exeVU! |>setup.msi Error 42127 {CAB-archive is corrupted.}

Any of this I should worry about?

just a scan error message ..... guess avast said it could not scan it

But how do I go about doing that?

Thanks. Yes it has not appeared again.

Instead I got another alarm today which said:

C:\windows\System32\svchost.exe

And at the top of the alarm window it said there were 24 blocks made!

Have you got any idea what this might be?
