Avast update notification box doesn’t show anymore though it’s checked in options, I’m not sure if updates work correctly…help please.
if you search forums you often see that someone have asked the same question before you, and this question is asked many times 
update popup/voice was removed in 2015

Oh, Im sorry, didn’t know this. I searched in google but it didn’t give me this link. Though, if it’s removed then why it is in program options still?! when I saw that option it logically rejected the thought that it could be removed

I read this post, does streaming updates really work in 3-5 min? that’s really fast I think.

Many topics relating to this (as has been mentioned) - where the auto update notification was removed. Unfortunately leaving the option in the UI doesn’t help as it causes confusion and the impression that it isn’t working.
