Usually AVAST updates very often but there has been no updates since yesterday and even if i do a manual update nothing happens.Is it a normal delay or i am missing something here
AVAST 4.8 Pro 090216-1 correct?
I’ve just updated my Avast home 4.8, and the version is correctly 090216-1.
well the date of update was that of yesterday 16-th what about today? No updates today?
I had’nt updated since 15-th, so I got the newest, so that indicate no updates today.
There is no set period for update, they are released when ready, currently that is almost once a day and sometimes more than one a day. I have had as many as 4-5 updates in a day, so there is no set frequency.
However, avast checks for updates when you connect to the internet and every 4 hours if you remain connected, so if one is available you will get it.
You can check this page avast! VPS Updates History for the released update. Though on occasion this page has not been updated at the same time as the update is released, so there could be a lag, doing a manual update will confirm if you have the latest update.
