I have only a small problem 
the script under
/etc/cron.daily/
starts not daily. what could the reason be?
if I enter
./avastvpsupdate.pl
the updates are downloaded successfully.
the right on the file tune also
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 11875 24. Mai 08:31 avastvpsupdate.pl
in
/var/log/syslog - /var/log/messages
are no error messages.
# cat /var/log/avastvpsupdate

possibly settled oneself.
run-parts --report --verbose --test /etc/cron.daily
did not show me /etc/cron.daily/avastvpsupdate.pl
I have serve simply renamed in avastvpsupdate (without .pl)
