Dear Sir or Madam
I’m running Avast! 4.8 Home Edition under Windows XP Pro ver. 2002 Service Pack 2.
To use Url2file ( see http://www.chami.com/free/url2file_wincon.html ) I’m forced to
shut down Avast! because it regards Url2file to be a worm and stops.
Does any way to fix the hitch exist ?
Any hint is very appreciated.

I am not sure whether you will be able to get this detection removed…
Use DavidR’s advice at the end of his post to add it to the exclusions…
