Hey all.
New to AVAST but…
I installed it and watched my CPU activity for around 1 hour and it was hitting around 20-30 CPU at times which is now putting me of the Anti virus software.
I game a lot… I know there’s a disabled mode but the AVAST is still running in the background in my CPU and still hits 15-20CPU.
Now that’s no good when I’m gaming.
Is there a fix or anything for this?

strange man, my cpu usage is at 0/1% and ram is around 1.35gbs.
could always run ccleaner to get rid of web junk and also registry clean… their might be other things other than avast running in the background.
I game a lot too and haven’t any issues… what gpu you got?

avast is good man! it’s protection is suppose to be up there with bitdefender and kasperksy on win 8.1 so I’m really hoping it matches them in win 10 but keeping performance just as good. avast destroys all other av’s in performance http://www.av-comparatives.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/avc_per_201505_en.pdf
so if this dude loves gaming I think he should stick to avast since it’s so light.
