Hello, I need help. I just purchased the professional version and I have no idea if I have the avast cleaner or where to find it. I took avast suggestion and went to hijackthis website and did a scan and they told me to download ATF cleaner by Atribune.
They also told me to download Malwarebytes anti-malware and then to download DDS.
Do I already have an avast cleaner to do all this and antimalware with the avast professional version?
Also I moved all my viruses to the chest and pressed delete, but it only said it will delete from chest, not the computer, so what do I do now, or did it remove the viruses completely?

avast cleaner is inside avast professional. Indeed the cleaner is a very very small version of an on-demand scanner/cleaner only.
Files (infected) sent to Chest are removed from the computer and you can let them there. Chest is a safe place to keep them and allow further investigation (cleaning, restoring, rescanning).
Run a full avast scanning, including archive files and be sure you’re clean.

If you are receiving help for a particular issue at one site, it is probably best to continue working with that site.
No one AV application can get all of the infections, all of the time. And some infections need specialist tools to remove, even if you are using a good AV (as you are.)
Thanks, I have to laugh at the computer sometimes. Being the dufus I am about computers avast anviral was telling me I have some kind of media plugged into the computer and it would not let me shut the computer off till I took care of the problem.
Well I had NO CLUE what it was saying or what to do, I thought great I’m going to have to stay up all night to figure this out because someone has tapped into my computer and I have to do something fast!
It turned out I left the SD microcard in the slot!
One more question, how do I clean the archive files, it says it is off when the others are on? And should I get the maleware?

MalwareBytesAntiMalware (MBAM) is a very good antispyware scanner, the demand version is free, and it is a good scanner to have available. Particularly good at removing rogue antivirus applications.
I think you mean “how to scan archives”?
This isn’t usually necessary, you might want to do it once to check your files, but it will take a lot longer to scan. “Archives” basically means packed files, like zipped/compressed files. They are inert unless unpacked, thus harmless.
