Avast! Virus lab missed? or can't add it to DB of Avast!

I was sent a Locky Ransomware via Avast! viruschest on 27/08/2016 but sill wait for virus signature for this file. :frowning:

Dont think so … but you are the one complaining about this take time so try another option

Hello,
we received the file, but it is not executable file. It is some crypted file. This file will not run without decrypting.

Make it executable file by .exe. :slight_smile:

Rofl. If it was sent by using the Virus Chest, why did you exchange the extension? Doesn’t make sense. Resend the file as .exe using Virus Chest.
