avast virus scan stays at Zero even after running repair and updating

Download the avast! Uninstall Utility, avastclear.exe http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avastclear.exe and save it to your HDD.

I did this two things, uninstalled in safe mode and reinstalled after rebooting and it’s been reinstalling for over a half an hour now

finally finished installing after almost an hour, did 2 reboots, then I started a full scan and left at 7pm at 7 am the scan was still at 0%.

what is going on AVAST? I left AVG for you and now you are dumping on me? I am thinking we should breakup, but I have 5 machines with you all on password and cleanup too.
