Have the daily updates now stopped?

Last week there were only 3 updates. In contrast to previous weeks there were 5-7 updates per week!

I have also noticed this for some reason alwil does not come out with updates as oten anymore this happened before that i noticed but after a while it went to daily updates now it is just 1 update once every 2 or 3 days.

Not able to update to 0528-0 7/11/2005 until I updated program to 4.6.691!

Does this mean database stopped function if program is not updated to latest?

i have the latest package and updates still stpoed coming out as often.

So what? No urgent new threats = no updates.

Have you updated to the latest program version of Avast ? 4.6.691

Well I think the Alwil team was busy working on version 4.6.691 making sure all the bugs are fix, they didn’t have time making VPS updates. But today’s updates contains alot of Virus signatures to make it up. :slight_smile:

2-3 updates in week is normal and it means that there are no urgent threats at the moment. But I there is a virus outbreak, updates may be released even 4-5 times in day (remember Mytob started to spread and new variants came into net).
