Avast VPN Connection Error

Hi, would anyone know why I might keep getting a Connection Error when I try to connect using Avast SecureLine VPN? It’s saying “Configuration profile could not be saved to the operating system.” I saw an old post from last year that mentioned it could be a conflict the native firewall, but I have that turned off for the moment so that’s not the conflict.

I’m running Mac OS X 10.11.5 with the latest Avast software. I am running Little Snitch - and I have allowed all outgoing communications for anything Avast.

Also running “RansomWhere” and “Malwarebytes Anti-Malware” - could one of them be causing a conflict?
