Avast VPN opening in Explorer - want to change it to Chrome

Hi guys,

I’m new to this forum. I need help with something. I have AVAST on my pc and when I use the VPN it opens in Explorer, which I don’t use very much. I would like it to open in Google Chrome , how can I have it changed? Thanks

Make sure that Chrome is set as your default browser.

Thanks UberBob. I have downloaded Chrome, but when I click on browser in the Avast block it loads Explorer with a Google logo, however it is still Explorer. I have a Chrome icon on the taskbar which takes me into Chrome ok, but I’m not sure if the VPN is working in the browser then.

As I stated in my first reply, it’s not having Chrome installed it’s making sure Chrome is set as your default browser.
That’s why I posted a link for instructions to do exactly that.

I did click and downloaded it but it still runs Explorer when I go VPN

Because Explorer is set as the default browser. Change that in your settings.

If you can’t do that then don’t use the browser button in the Avast VPN screen.
After you’ve started the VPN, open Chrome manually.
