Avast VPN Secureline installation failed

Using the full (offline) installer results in an unusable install still with Avast Secureline VPN screen stuck on “Loading”. Definitely some connection issues, but I can get it installed (with normal installer) and running on my M1 Pro MacBook Pro, but some reason couldn’t get it to install (or ending up in Loading loop) on my wife’s M1 MacBook Air.

Maybe there are some network dependencies (libraries) that I should update in the other Mac.

Any thoughts?

same thing happened to me VPN installation failed. Almost two hours with the Tech customer service guy and what a waste of time to find NO SOLUTION.
I have requested cancellation of balance of subscription of AVAST VPN as it isn’t compatible with IMAC.
Would not recommend this product because of the hassle and stress caused waiting for a fix by AVAST.
