  1. What are the pros & cons of the Avast Free vs Ad-Aware Free Antivirus?

  2. Why does Avast Free keep sending pop up like " seasonal sales" etc?

I used to use Ad-Aware together with Avast Free Antivirus before they changed Ad-Aware into it’s own anti-virus program. I think it used to detect a lot of false positives.
