Hello;
Since yesterday When i go to my igoogle homepage with firefox Avast warn me.
I have this: Infection Details
URL: http://www.google.fr/ig|>{gzip}
Process: file://C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
Infection: js:ScriptPE-inf [Trj]
I have the last avast and firefox version.
So i have try to uninstall avast and firefox but it’s don’t fix the problem.
When i use Internet explorer all is fine i have no warning on igoogle.
(I read on an other topic that there is the same problem on 04/11(http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=75977.0) and an update fix it but for me its different because i have the last Avast version.
Well I have had to try and find my log on details to iGoogle and I have no problem loading the UK page. I had no problems in going to my iGoogle page http://www.google.com/ig, now that URL should automatically redirect to your igoogle home page.
Is that the URL that you use to get to your igoogle page ?
I then tried the above link you gave hXXp://www.google.fr/ig note the XX in place of the http. this is used to break links to suspect sites to prevent accidental exposure.
I was able to access the link without alert, see image.
Ensure that you have the latest virus definitions, mine was 111015-0 when I checked this out.
With my toolbar google i have no problem for search.
When i use firefox to go to igoogle homepage when i am log out there is no avast alert.And when i log in(connect) i have the alert :-\
When I connect my account iGoogle on my wife computer with Firefox I have the Avast Alert. With her iGoogle no problem.
How weird ! Is there any problem with my iGoogle account ?
Do you have any google related add-ons in firefox ?
However that wouldn’t seem related if using your wife’s computer and different user account and default firefox settings. You could try running the firefox safe mode (no add-ons) on your system and see that makes any difference.
Weird that this is linked to your igoogle page if you use your wife’s computer.

If you haven’t already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it and report the findings (it should product a log file).
MalwareBytes Anti-Malware (MBAM), On-Demand only in free version http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/malwarebytes/mbam-setup.exe, right click on the link and select Save As or Save File (As depending on your browser), save it to a location where you can find it easily later. - 2. SUPERantispyware (SAS). On-Demand only in free version.
Don’t worry about reported tracking cookies they are a minor issue and not one of security, allow SAS to deal with them though. - See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie.
I found the problem ;D it was Zataz igoogle gadget I deleted and now no more alert.Thanks god
I am surprised because it s the first time i had problems with this gadjet…
OK, I have had a little play and even looking for the Zataz gadget resulted in an alert on firefox/igoogle, image1.
So I captured a copy of the file that the alert is on (compressed {gzip} file) and uploaded it to virustotal for scanning, only avast and gdata (gdata uses avast as one of its two engines) alert on this, VirusTotal Results page link.
So I have submitted this to the virus labs for further analysis, image2.
