I’m on Win7 64 bit. My Internet Explorer x86 version crashes upon load. I disabled all add-ons and re-enabled them one by one until I found the problem was the “Avast! Web Rep” add-on. Event Viewer shows the error as a faulting module C:\Windows\syswow64\OLEAUT32.dll. Should I just leave the add-on disabled, or does this leave me unprotected on the IE32 version?
No the protection is not affected by this at all. What program version do you use? Do you still experience issues with build 6.0.1044? In any case there will be a new build released soon. Stay tuned.
