Avast Webrep shows the IT support website/forum http://www.experts-exchange.com has a bad rating based on “many votes”… why? I’ve been a member of that website for years and I’ve never come across any harmful material. Is this a false positive?
This is only because of avast user input, as WOT has problems with that site. Other web rep tools, webutation, M86, TrafficLight all give a green: http://www.webutation.net/go/review/experts-exchange.com?req=chrome BrightCloud gives it Trustworthy green index = 96

I used to use experts-exchange.com many years ago, but I find it to be a total waste of time, as you can’t see the accepted best answer unless you register (community, 1 answer/solution per month) or pay.
To me that is too damn close to some security based applications/scans that will report but not remove unless you pay (many of which are considered rogues). In this case you can see a question but not a solution unless you at the very least register and or pay. This may well be why people don’t like it and may have voted because of that.
I would rather do my search for an answer using google/yahoo and get the answer gratis.
